Foster and adoptive parents limited to our home state of Michigan or neighboring states only.  Must be willing to drive as we will not ship a dog.

 

Because of the amount of applications we receive and the long list of people waiting for a dog, available dogs may not always make it to this site.  With that said...We encourage you to submit your application, as we always place the dog in a home that has that particular dogs best interests in mind.  We do not place dogs in the order of applications received.

 

100% of our adoption fees go back into the Michigan Standard Poodle Rescue Account ...for the care and well-being of current and future dogs.

 

Before dogs are released for adoption, they are:

• Spayed or Neutered

• Heart-worm tested and treated (if positive)

• Current on all vaccinations 

• Bathed and Groomed (if needed) 

• Treated for any medical issues

 

Based upon the cost of obtaining similar services from a commercial veterinarian, our adoption fees are a bargain ~ and most often do NOT cover the cost of the dog's care provided by MSRP.

 

Adoption fees vary at MSRP. 

• Dogs under 4 years of age, $400.00

• Dogs 4 to 6 years of age $350.00

• Older Dogs $300.00

• Fees for senior and special needs dogs can be less and are often waived altogether.

 

The Adoption Application is currently the only auto-fillable form.  Must open in Adobe Acrobat.
