Gracie - More Info

 

Gracie is a purebred 9 yr old Female standard poodle that is spayed and UTD.

 

She is housetrained and does not require a crate, knows several commands, and can be left alone with free run of the house. She is very low key, loves attention and her walks.

 

Gracie is being surrendered by the only family she has ever known.  They have 4 children (ages 7 and 5 and a set of twins who are starting to crawl).  Her family just don't have time for her like they once did.

 

With the noise level and activity of 4 kids, Gracie has become depressed and shut down much of the time.  She has become protective of her food and has started acting very nervous and is also isolating herself from the family. The current owners feel it is best for her to find a more quiet relaxed environment. She has never been around other dogs or cats, so they are not sure how she would react.  She does ride well in a car.

 

Gracie is located in the Chicago area and will be transported to Michigan in a few weeks if a forever home is not found. Please fill out an application, and a meet and greet can be arranged as the next step. Adoption fee is $200.00
